MUFSC Offers Forensic Y-STR Training to DNA Community

Beginning in June, the Marshall University Forensic Science Center (MUFSC) will offer Forensic Y-STR Training to the DNA community.  Each five-day training session will provide laboratory analysts with the knowledge and skills necessary to implement Y-STR testing into their current workflow.  Through funding from the National Institute of Justice, training and travel will be provided free of charge to eligible participants.   Forensic Y-STR Training marks an important expansion to MUFSC’s already diverse and valuable training initiatives.
