Students interested in working in Forensic DNA Laboratories should be aware of specific personnel requirements listed in the U.S. Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Investigation Quality Assurance Standards for Convicted Offender DNA Databasing Laboratories and the Quality Assurance Standards for Forensic DNA Testing Laboratories. Marshall University ’s Forensic Science Master of Science Emphasis in DNA Analysis meets the degree requirement and exceeds the course requirements set forth by the DNA Advisory Board (DAB) for individuals aspiring to positions of Technical Leader/Manager in Forensic DNA Laboratories.
