Position: Program Assistant I, Forensic Science Academic Graduate Program
Location:
Marshall University Forensic Science Center
Position Type: Full-time, regular status, classified, non-exempt
Salary: Pay Grade 12, $22,436/annually

Qualifications: Associate's degree in business or a related field and over six months work experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Assess, and Banner is preferred. Communication and technical skills to thrive in a dynamic office environment that serves FT & PT faculty, the public, crime laboratory professionals, other office and professional staff, and students on a regular basis.


Duties: Work with faculty, staff, and student confidential files; manage the finances of the academic program ; generation and tracking of PAR's, tracking spending and income, processing travel and supply orders for faculty and staff; schedule appointments and meetings for program administrators and manage the MUFSC website calendar. Plan and implement conferences, receptions, and other special events. Maintain current information on policies and programs and process routine matters within established policies. Perform financial, statistical and special assignments related to the academy program. Perform other duties as assigned.
