Position: Research Technician II, Forensic Science

Salary: $27,000-29,000/annually

This full-time position is currently funded through September 14, 2006 with good likelihood of continued funding for the subsequent year.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in microbiology, biology, or related discipline with microbiology course work and some laboratory experience in microbial molecular techniques and traditional culture-based microbiology. Experience in pulsed-field gel electrophoresis preferred.

Duties: Bacterial source tracking section supervision and management, PFGE, sample processing, database entry and analysis, training, and reporting.
