Position: Forensic Science Program Manager
Location: Forensic Science Center
Position Type: Full-time, regular status, non-classified position
Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience

Qualifications: Master's degree in Forensic Science

Duties: Recruit students to maintain and enhance student enrollment; participate in job fairs, career fairs on a local and national level; supervise program secretary; perform assignments as needed for faculty; perform course materials management required for FEP|AC accreditation involving close interaction with faculty; manage guest speaker travel; identify and correspond with potential internship sites and develop MOUs; seek out guest speakers; identify educational resources for program use; assist students in locating internships across the country; interfacing between agencies/supervisors and students; coordinate hiring of work study students, graduate assistants, and teaching assistants; manage student time-cards and PARs; participate in center-wide projects that involve the program, its students, safety, resources, services, etc.; investigate and implement creative programs such as development of program question banks, web-based instruction using Web-CT.
